To be a woman

Today mine and Rene's conversation went something like this:

Rene: So when we get to the church Nelson should be asleep so you can work

Me: Yea, I can work on the computer, eat, and feed emma while I eat.

pause 

Me: Thank you Jesus for making me a woman! I couldn't do it if I wasn't!

Rene: You wouldn't have to if you weren't! 

Burst of laughter!

How can I be organized when I have a nursing baby and toddler?

So I have been looking for coupons and BOGO list this afternoon and came across this blog with a post titled "Q&A TUESDAY: How can I be organized when I have a nursing baby and toddler?" and of course this caught my attention! It was really great to read & I wanted to share it with you as well. One of my favorite tips went like this:

Give Up the Expectation of a Good Night’s Sleep

Instead of getting frustrated over how little sleep I was getting or how often my sleep was being interrupted, I gave up my expectation of being able to get a good night’s sleep and asked the Lord to please give me grace and bless and supernaturally multiply whatever sleep I was able to get. This was hugely helpful to me to realize that God knows how much sleep I need, He’s not confined by a clock and I can trust Him to provide what I need.
